Dongfang Hualong Industry Pre-Hydrogenation Reactor Project

This project involved the design and fabrication of a plate-welded pre-hydrogenation reactor for a hydrogenation unit operated by Shandong Dongfang Hualong. The reactor is intended for upstream hydrogenation processes, serving as a key component in removing impurities such as sulfur, nitrogen, and metals from heavy oil fractions prior to deep processing.

With a diameter of 3400mm and a total wall thickness of 84.5mm, the vessel was constructed using 14Cr1MoR(H) pressure vessel steel for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. To enhance corrosion resistance, the interior was clad with austenitic stainless steel alloys E309L and E347 using precision overlay welding techniques.
