Hot High-Pressure Separator Project

This hot high-pressure separator was custom-built for Shandong Runcheng Petrochemical Co., Ltd. as a critical component in a high-temperature and high-pressure process system. Designed for use in a heavy oil or hydroprocessing unit, the separator plays a vital role in phase separation following hydrogenation reactions, operating under severe thermal and mechanical stress.

Constructed using 15CrMoR(H)—a low-alloy, heat-resistant pressure vessel steel—the vessel ensures excellent creep strength and thermal fatigue resistance. The internal surface is cladded with E347 stainless steel to enhance corrosion resistance, especially in environments with high hydrogen partial pressures and acidic process media.

With an outer diameter of 2600mm, wall thickness of 210mm plus a corrosion allowance, and a total weight of 174 tons, this unit represents advanced manufacturing capabilities in heavy-wall pressure vessel fabrication.
