Ammonia Synthesis Converter – Quansheng Chemical

This 370-ton ammonia synthesis converter was designed and manufactured for Anhui Quansheng Chemical as a core pressure vessel for its high-capacity ammonia production line. With a shell diameter of 2.52 meters and a total length of over 27 meters, the vessel operates under extreme conditions of pressure, temperature, and hydrogen exposure, typical in Haber-Bosch synthesis loops.

The converter adopts a multi-layer material construction, including Q345R as the base layer, 14Cr1MoR for temperature strength, and 12Cr2Mo1R for creep resistance and prolonged high-pressure service. The layered design ensures optimized performance under continuous synthesis cycles.
