Ammonium Amide Salt Mixing Heater – Offshore Oil Fudao

Project Overview

This 4.09-ton mixing heater was engineered and manufactured for Offshore Oil Fudao Co., Ltd. to handle the controlled heating and agitation of amide salt compounds in a highly corrosive reaction environment. The vessel integrates multiple material zones, each selected for its role in managing temperature, pressure, and corrosion resistance in a complex chemical system.

The shell is constructed from Q345R, while the top head is lined with enamel (glass lining) to ensure chemical inertness against amine or acid vapors. The bottom head and tube sheet are fabricated from 316L stainless steel, chosen for their balanced corrosion resistance and weldability. Most critically, the heat exchanger tubes are made from Hastelloy B3, which offers outstanding durability in non-oxidizing acid conditions such as hydrochloric or acetic acid environments.
