Gasifier Shell for Coal Gasification – Xinji Chemical Group

This 76-ton gasifier shell was manufactured for Hebei Xinji Chemical Group as part of their high-pressure coal gasification system. The vessel serves as the outer structural body of a coal gasifier, responsible for containing the high-temperature, high-pressure environment in which pulverized coal is converted into syngas (CO + H₂).

With a cylindrical form reaching over 14 meters in length and dual diameter sections (φ2700 / φ2690), the shell features a dual-material structure: high-strength 15CrMoR pressure vessel steel for the body, and an inner cladding layer of S31603 (316L stainless steel) for corrosion protection against aggressive gas and ash compositions.
