This 375-ton coke drum was engineered and manufactured for the delayed coking unit of Liaoning Bora Bioenergy, a key component in the company’s petrochemical deep-conversion project. With a towering length of 47.6 meters and a multi-thickness cylindrical shell structure ranging from 36 mm to 64 mm, the vessel was designed to endure repeated thermal cycling, high pressure, and aggressive coke-forming environments.
The chosen material, 14Cr1MoR, ensures excellent high-temperature resistance, weldability, and long-term mechanical strength, making it ideal for sustained operation in residue upgrading and coke production.
