Reactor / Scrubber Tower Project Case for Hengyi (Brunei) Petrochemical Complex

This ultra-long Reactor/Scrubber Tower was custom-built for the Hengyi (Brunei) Petrochemical Project, a flagship refinery and petrochemical integration complex in Southeast Asia. As part of its residue upgrading and flexicoking gas cleaning section, the equipment plays a dual role in both reactive treatment and flue gas scrubbing, ensuring environmental compliance and high-conversion efficiency.

With an overall length exceeding 40 meters and a cylinder diameter of 6.6 meters, this pressure vessel required high-precision rolling, heavy-duty segmental welding, and comprehensive dimensional quality control. The composite shell structure integrates multiple diameter transitions and wall thickness sections, tailored to process and mechanical design conditions.
