High-Capacity Heater for Flexicoking Unit – Hengyi (Brunei)

This heater is a custom-engineered pressure vessel designed for the pre-heating section of a flexicoking unit, provided to Hengyi (Brunei) for its integrated refinery and petrochemical complex. The equipment consists of two major sections with different diameters—Φ9365mm and Φ4330mm, joined seamlessly to achieve efficient thermal distribution across a total length of 35.7 meters.

Constructed from high-quality Q345R boiler-grade carbon steel, the heater is designed to operate under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, typical of residue processing systems. It plays a crucial role in increasing the temperature of feedstock prior to gasification or coking, enhancing reaction efficiency and energy utilization.
