Coke Drum for Delayed Coking Unit – Yantai Yida New Materials

As a core component of the delayed coking unit, the drum is responsible for thermal cracking of heavy petroleum residues, facilitating the formation and collection of solid petroleum coke under high temperature and cyclic pressure conditions.

With a diameter of 6.6 meters и total height exceeding 40 meters, the equipment demanded high-precision rolling, fully qualified welding procedures, and strict dimensional tolerance control. The chosen material, 14Cr1MoR, offers excellent creep resistance and durability under sustained high temperatures, making it well-suited for cyclic thermal loads.
